Logic pro 10.4 sample rate missing1/2/2023 The real issue is how well the NLE supports rapid scrubbing through a given codec in both forward and reverse, esp. Both have issues 60fps though.ġx playback speed is an easy test. Its interesting that FCPX has issues / stutters with H265 10Bit 422 (23.98) but Kyno plays it back flawlessly. Hopefully the new Apple Silicon Macs will enable a more agile and capable hardware acceleration approach, which may reduce this problem. Unfortunately I don't think this happens very consistently, so there is a long history of cameras being "dumped on the market" with poor NLE and hardware support, which then takes years to catch up. The ASIC also has a long design lead time, so in theory there is a significant overlap period during development of a new camera and new CPUs or hardware accelerators during which collaboration and coordination could occur. The cameras are using their own hardware ASIC to format the codec. Ideally, early during development each camera manufacturer should collaborate closely with computer and system software developers to ensure their new codecs will be well supported when the product is released. There is a multi-year lead time to develop, produce and integrate new hardware decoders into a product line. But for each given decoder type there are multiple versions, each with varying capabilities, often poorly-documented. Likewise we view hardware accelerated decoders in simple broad categories, e.g, Quick Sync. This is why two apparently-similar codecs may perform so differently on a given platform. The GOP length, number of reference frames, bit rate, frame rate, etc all vary. That is about 1/5 the size of regular 50% ProRes proxies, yet delivers good playback performance (at least on my machine).Įven though we often view a certain encoding format in broad terms (e.g, 4k H264), internally there are many variations. On my machine using 50% H264 proxies works fairly well. Your only current option is transcode to proxy, and fortunately FCPX 10.4.10 now gives many different proxy options - varying frame sizes and both H264 and ProRes. In general 4k 10-bit 4:2:2 "Long GOP" and HEVC codecs are very difficult to decode, possibly because the hardware accelerators don't handle this well. If you skim the thumbnails in the Event Browser, the viewer update rate is usually faster than using the playhead in the timeline. In general FCPX prioritizes viewer update rate over playhead updates, so if you look at the viewer it is often updating fairly quickly even though the playhead is laggy.Īlso on FCPX there's apparently a separate optimized software code path for the skimmer vs the playhead. However on FCPX you must distinguish between playhead responsiveness vs viewer frame rate. On Resolve and FCPX All-Intra are fairly fast, but HEVC and Long GOP are sluggish. On Premiere all 4k A7SIII codecs I've tested are just plain slow. In general it is somewhat choppy, but how each NLE handles each codec varies. I've tested various A7SIII 4k 10-bit footage using FCPX 10.4.10, Premiere 14.4.0 and Resolve 16.2.7 on my 10-core Vega 64 iMac Pro. Does anybody know if FCP has not released a codec to properly decode the footage yet?. I shot both 24 fps and 60 fps footage and the playback of the footage alone in FCP was very choppy and skipped some frames. I shot some XAVC S 4K 10 bit 422 footage on the new A7S III and imported it into final cut pro.

Fifa origin sign in1/2/2023 The Origin In Game overlay client can be disabled while playing games. The Origin client is designed to be similar to its competitor, Steam. It shows the status of components available. The Origin client is self-updating software that allows users to download games, expansion packs, content booster packs and patches from Electronic Arts. However, the addition of retail keys to Origin is restricted to games from 2009 onwards and older keys will not work even if the game is available on Origin, unless user contacts customer support. Users may also add certain EA games to their Origin account by using CD keys from retail copies, and digital copies obtained from other digital distribution services. Origin guarantees download availability forever after purchase, and there is no limit to the number of times a game can be downloaded. Instead of receiving a box, disc, or even CD key, purchased software is immediately attached to the user's Origin account and is to be downloaded with the corresponding Origin client. The Origin store allows users to browse and purchase games from Electronic Arts' catalogs. ĮA has announced in September 2020 that it plans to retire Origin in favor of a new EA Desktop client for its EA Play service in the future. By 2013, Origin had over 50 million registered users. In 2011, Electronic Arts stated that it wanted Origin to match Valve's Steam service, Origin's primary competitor, by adding cloud game saves, auto-patching, achievements, and cross-platform releases. Origin contains social features such as profile management, networking with friends with chat and direct game joining along with an in-game overlay, streaming via Twitch and sharing of game library and community integration with networking sites like Facebook, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Nintendo Network. The platform's software client is available for personal computer and mobile platforms. Origin is a digital distribution platform developed by Electronic Arts for purchasing and playing video games.

Joker mortal kombat 111/2/2023 Then the cake explodes, turning the victim’s arms into stumps, and Joker finishes the job with a bloody tommy gun execution to reveal that it is a fatality after all. For the final murder, Joker shoves a birthday cake into his opponents hands and then teases old-school MK fans with a non-violent friendship move. First, we see Joker’s fatal blow, where he repeatedly stabs his opponent in the back, rips the face open with knives, and beats the head in with a cane while blood splashes on the screen.Īnd that’s not even the fatality. The trailer showcases plenty of Joker’s moves – including wacky details ranging from a Batman doll with a gun to a spring-loaded boxing glove – but the part you’re probably interested in comes at the end. Now that we’ve got the first Joker gameplay trailer, it seems no punches are getting pulled. Ever since developer NetherRealm confirmed the news, fans have been left to wonder just how the DC villain would integrate with MK’s hyperviolence – while the developer is no stranger to the DC universe, those fighting games have been T-rated.

For credit card or customer loyalty applications, or healthcare admitting, select barcode scanners can be modified to parse driver's license barcode data and send it in a specific order.Ĭordless scanners give you greater freedom of motion than their cabled counterparts, making these scanners great for performing inventory checks or as a secondary grocery scanner. Advanced optics in some models can perform OCR or even capture images, great for proof of payment for checks. These scanners can read omnidirectionally, eliminating the need to reorient the barcode prior to scanning. These barcode scanners can survive drops off counters and collisions that could damage their low-volume counterparts.įor more advanced scanning, a 2D scanner is a great choice. They offer a great combination of price and performance, with increased durability as well. From single register boutiques to larger department stores, high volume scanners are a mainstay at any checkstand. These are the barcode scanners you see in most retail operations. The contact scanners require you to have them touch the barcode to get a good read, and in the case of wand scanners, you actually have to drag the scanner across the barcode.īuilt with maximum performance in mind, a high volume retail scanner is a smart choice for big box retailers, light manufacturing, high volume shipping, or any place you may scan hundreds of barcodes or more a day. Some even come with an auto sense stand, giving you the option of hands-free scanning if you so desire. Life quest of america12/31/2022 I looked at the woman’s face and thought of the mothers of all the friends I had lost, the end of their children’s suffering marking the beginning of theirs. They are part of the price of war – a price I have seen paid by friends who returned home with PTSD, in the 21-gun salutes at the military funerals of those who could not bear the pain, in the psychologist’s waiting room at the VA, in the faces of the active-duty members at the drug treatment centre who preferred the deadening of chemical dependency to the flashbacks. “Deaths of despair” go hand-in-hand with modern military service. There were many: a friend who was so drunk he drove his car into a concrete barrier, dying instantly another who overdosed on heroin one who shot himself. I thought of the people I had known who had survived war but died after. She died later, in a drunk driving accident…” I was raised in a military culture with a deep respect for service members. I tried to follow in her footsteps but was discharged out of basic training, deemed medically unfit for service. My mother served 20 years in the Air Force. They said it would get easier, but it didn’t. It’s almost the anniversary of her death. She leaned her head back against her headrest and the knife dropped to her lap. “Why do you want to die?” I asked her bluntly. “I came here to die and like everything else in my life it didn’t even work.” She looked straight at me, her eyes so full of pain. I saw the knife, and you looked upset, so I wanted to check-in.” She looked at me, annoyed by my presence. Unsure of what to say or do, I stood there awkwardly. My first instinct was to call the police to save her, then I realised how absurd that would be. The woman had intended to commit suicide-by-cop. Police SUVs can always be found parked along that street, officers chatting outside. The Portland Police Bureau holds its martial arts training in a building next to a convenience store. Now I have to wait for them to come back out.” Her words devolved into choking sobs. “They won’t even do their job and shoot me! I stood there waving this knife around, and the cops didn’t even notice. She gestured with the knife towards the cop cars lining the street. I leaned into her open passenger window and stupidly asked her if she was OK. I could not just walk by as if I had not seen anything. It bobbed up and down rhythmically in her hand as she cried, sitting in the driver’s seat of her car. I heard her sobs the moment before I saw the butcher knife.

Pankaj udas gazal song12/28/2022 I thought there was something very attractive in her singing and style. “She had an unusual voice which was apt for ghazal. It was the legendary Begum Akhtar’s voice that mesmerised him. Bollywood music played a great part in Pankaj’s development of interest. The composers used a lot of ragas in the music. The film music of 1960s-70s was phenomenal in every aspect. It was here that he would be exposed to Hindustani vocals. He underwent formal training in the instrument at the Sangeet Natak Academy in Rajkot. A young Pankaj was inquisitive and impressed by them but it was the tabla that fascinated him. The youngest of the 3 brothers, Pankaj would attend college functions in Rajkot where his brothers would sing. The exposure to film music and mainly the radio were the other influences,” recounted Pankaj. “The combination of our parents’ interest in music worked on us and we developed a liking. This dedication to music was the first trigger which generated an interest in music among the brothers. This did not restrict his daily riyaaz of the ‘ishraj’. After Independence and the implementation of a new constitution, he took up a job with the Government of India. He learnt the art from one of the musicians in the court of the Maharaj of Bhavnagar. Their father was the first in the family to receive musical training. Though their mother was passionate about singing, it was limited to festivals, family functions and wedding. This was not particularly the case in the Udhas household. Most musicians would be handed a musical instrument in their childhood. One of them being, the ghazal legend Pankaj Udhas. Born into a family of landlords, the Udhas brothers would venture out on a musical sojourn and etch their names in music history.

Leave out all the rest tab12/28/2022 New Zealand will ease into a new “traffic light system” from Friday with regions put into red, orange and green zones depending on vaccination rates and COVID-19 cases. The new Omicron variant is increasing concerns among Maori, but has yet to be seen in New Zealand, or impact re-opening plans. “We experience every systemic failure just by being Maori,” said Ngarewa-Packer. This, coupled with institutional racism, a high mistrust in government and poor health access for Maori living in smaller towns, meant many were slow to get vaccinated or simply left out, Maori leaders say. About 70% of Maori are under the age of 40. Some community leaders blame the low uptake on the government’s vaccination strategy, which included prioritising shots for elderly. Only about 69% of eligible Maori are fully vaccinated compared to nearly 90% of the rest of New Zealand. Like many indigenous peoples, Maori fare worse than the rest of the population when it comes to health and well-being measures. Maori, who make up around 15% of New Zealand’s 5 million population, now account for the highest proportion of new COVID-19 cases, averaging around 200 a day. “The prime minister is intent on opening up before Christmas even if it’s at the expense of Maori.” “It seems like Maori are the most expendable in this country,” Maori Party co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer told Reuters. Some of the world’s toughest pandemic measures enforced by the South Pacific nation are easing on Friday New Zealand to ease COVID measures this week despite Omicron threat – PM, with businesses reopening nationwide after Ardern’s government abandoned its elimination strategy in the face of the contagious Delta variant.ĭomestic border curbs in the pandemic epicentre Auckland are due to end mid-December and international borders restrictions will loosen progressively from January.īut as businesses and New Zealand’s majority ethnic European population largely welcome the reopening ahead of the Christmas holidays, some Maori fear further marginalisation.
